If you are an editor of a moderated list with reception set to mail you will receive an email every time someone tries to post to the list.
Note: The message to be moderated is included as an attachment. If your mail client does not show the attachment inline, you will have to open the attachment to view the message.
The email will look like this:
To distribute the following message into list *listname*, either click on this link: mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org?subject=DISTRIBUTE%20*listname*%20892176d8da696d9af5acd7a2ba4ed1c5 Or send a mail to email@example.com with this subject: DISTRIBUTE *listname* 892176d8da696d9af5acd7a2ba4ed1c5 To refuse it (delete it), either click on this link: mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org?subject=REJECT%20*listname*%20892176d8da696d9af5acd7a2ba4ed1c5 Or send a mail to email@example.com with this subject: REJECT *listname* 892176d8da696d9af5acd7a2ba4ed1c5
*listname* is the name of your list. If your mail client support clickable URLs, then you can click on the “mailto:” link. The big long number after the listname is secret code which changes for each message.
This secret code is used to prevent people who are not the editors from approving or rejecting mail.
